 Lidianpu Primary School is in a small village in Shanxi. Every day, students form ten villages around it go to this school. It is about 15 km form some of the students’ homes to the school. But their parents are not afraid of this. Because they can take the school bus to get to school.

A boy from Xiaolicun says it takes him 1.5 hours to get to school by bus. Now with the school bus, he leaves home at 7:10 am and gets to school at 8:00 am. The boy lives with his grandparents. Every morning, his grandfather takes him to the school bus stop in Xiaolicun. When the bus comes, he gets on it. The teacher gives the card to the boy’s grandfather. There is a photo of the boy on the card. In the afternoon, when he gets to the bus stop after school, his grandfather gives the card back to his teacher.
