Nice to hear from you again! As you know, this winter vacation, at the end of December, 2007, we English-lovers from all over the country will go to a four-day English Winter Camp in Dalian. Some English teachers from China, the USA, England and Australia will join us. In the camp, we will have an English speaking competition, watch some wonderful performances given by the students and visit some places of interest in Dalian. Besides, we will exchange our English learning experience and talk about our colorful school life in English. I think this winter camp will greatly improve my spoken English and I will make some new friends there. I do hope you will come and join us.

第三单元：

Dear Mike,

Here is my suggestion about your travel during the long May Day holidays. On May 1st, you may take the 8:00 flight to Beijing. You are to visit the Tiananmen Square in the afternoon. Next day, I suggest you visit the Great Wall, the longest wall in the world. For the next two days, you can visit the Summer Palace, walk around and do some shopping. On May 5th, you are to take a train to Tai’an City to climb the nearby Mount Tai, on the top of which, if lucky, you’ll have the chance to see the sunrise early next morning. In the afternoon, you may return to Nanjing by train. I wish you could enjoy your travel.

Yang Liwei was born in Liaoning Province. He is 38 years old. 

Yang Liwei China's first man into the space . He was a very good pilot in the army before selected as astronauts. He was on October 15, 2003 by 9:00 am "Shenzhou V" spaceship into space, and the next day at 6 o'clock this morning the safe return of the ground. Staying in the space for 21 hours and 23 minutes, he circled around the Earth

for 14 weeks, during which he took some photos. After his return, the medical examination showed that he's in good physical condition.  

People will always remember the heroe, because he achieved our dream of flying to the space for thousands of years
