Dear Sirs,
We have duly noted from your letter dated October 10 that your consignment should be sent by through transport. In order to avoid any possible troubles, we decide to accept your special packing requirements as follows:
The paint purchased by order No. TB757 will be packed in international standard cardboard boxes, 24 boxes on a pallet, 10 pallets in an FCL container. On the outer packing, we will, as required, mark your initials in a diamond, under which the port of destination and your order number will be stenciled. In addition, waterproof plastic sheets will be fully used to wrap up each pallet.
Please tell whether the above arrangement will meet your approval.
Yours faithfully,

Dear Mr. Merton
We thank you for your letter of August 15, but have to point out that the price we quoted in our letter of July 30 for White Porcelain Vase Range is quite competitive, and your counter-offer of USD500/piece is actually quite on the low side. However, in view of our long and friendly business relationship we decide to accept your counter-offer, though it will leave us no margin of profit.
Meanwhile, we understand your concern over packing and wish to give the following details:
Each of the vases is wrapped in a poly-bag, and then put in a foamed plastic casing, which is in turn placed in a decorative cardboard box. These boxes are packed in specially designed polythene-lined strong cardboard cartons, twelve to a carton, so that no movement inside the carton is possible.
Besides, on the outside of each carton are clearly stenciled in fadeless ink such warning marks as “FRAGILE” and “HANDLE WITH CARE”.
We hope you will agree that we have taken every possible precaution to ensure the safe transportation of our products.
We look forward to receiving your order.
Sincerely yours
