Teaching process:

1.Duty   “Who’s on duty today?”

2.Greeting  “How are you today?””I am happy,happy,happy. Do you know why I am so happy? Because I have a lot of pet friends here . Try to answer my question correctly, then you can get one. Do you like them? Ok, Come on!”

Step 1. Warm up

1.Sing a song “on in under song”

   Do you remember on in under near(actions) .Now let’s sing a song ,ok? 

2.Review the words about furniture.

  “I have some words about furniture. Can you read them. Let’s find Where are they .Where is the cupboard/box…?”(Stick the word cards) 

3.Review the sentences using the PPT.

Teacher ask: What is this?  Where is the XXX?   Well done. 

S ask: Where is the XXX? Well done.

T ask: What are these? Where are the XXX? Very good.

S ask: Where are the XXX?

Step 2.Presentation

1.Pretend to forget where the book is and get pupils to help me find it.

“Where is my book? I can’t find my book. Anny , can you help me. Is it on the desk? Yes or No? Is it in the desk? Is it under the chair? Thank you, Anny.

   -No, it isn’t.

   -Yes, it is.

Let’s chant.    Where- is- where is the book?

       Is it on the desk, on the desk？ 

       No, no, no, it isn’t.

       Is it under the chair, under the chair? 

       Yes, yes, yes, it is.

       Oh, yeah. Well done. 

Practice 1: Get a pupil to hide a pet, and teacher guess.  “Who want to hide the rabbit, and I will guess. Close my eyes. Are you Ok?””Is it XXX” Students”Yes,it is./No it isn’t.”

Practice 2:”Now, this time. I hide the pet, and you guess. OK? Look at the screen. Where is the XXX?” Students guess: Is it XXX?

2.”Who want to hide these two rabbits? Close my eyes. Are you OK? Where are the rabbits? Are they XXX?

Practice: Look at the screen and guess Where are the XXX. Students guess ” Are they XXX?”

Step 3: Practice

1.Get one pupil come to the front, and hide his stationary, and other pupils guess.

T“These are two pencils, and this is a pencil case.”Please guess “Where are the pencils?”

   Who want to do this like me? And you can use your bag ,pencil case, pencil, eraser and so on. 

2.Do the Part E

Open your books. Turn to page 11. The pets are hiding .Can you find them? Maybe you need to open the flaps to find the pets.  Look at the Super E book.

Ask pupils about the hamsters.”Where are the hamsters? Are they…”Pupils answer ”Yes, they are/No, they aren’t.”

Ask pupils to work in pairs and talk about the other pets.

Step 4. Emotion:

  Pets are our good friends. We should protect them and take care of them.

  Pictures: Stroke the pet gently

         Take the pet for a walk

         Play with the pet

         Feed the pet

Homework

    Draw a picture and write a description of the places where you keep your toys at home.
