英语写作The First Day of My College Life

How time flies !

Sitting in the classroom at this moment , I still have fresh memories of my first day in this university.

To tell the truth, I’ve never been to a place so far away from my dear hometown . Thus , I was afraid of greeting other newcomers . Fortunately, my parents drove me to campus , and we travelled in this city for about a whole day . Of course , we’ve wandered along all roads in this campus with the intention of making sure that I got familiar with all surroundings . Thanks to a sophomore , we didn’t get lost in such a large campus . Additionally , we succeeded in finding all main buildings . including the library , two teaching buildings , the marvelous gymnasium and my own dormitory. 

Adding to my happiness was to make my roommates’ acquaintances in the evening. The three girls come from different places, what’s more , I happened to come across a girl who come from the same city with me . I am a lucky dog!

At night , we four girls talked a lot about our former lives and our future plan. That was my first day in this college.

Then , when we come back to the campus , we got really nervous as the campus was too huge to get lost easily . Nevertheless , thanks to a sophomore , we didn't run into that sort of embarrassment . He kept company with us before my parents drove home . Additionally , we succeeded in finding all main buildings . 

Adding to my happiness was to make my roommates' acquaintances in the evening. The three girls come from different places, I can learn different kinds of customs. What's more , I happened to come across a girl who come from the same city with me . 

At night , we four girls talked a lot about our former lives and our future plan. 

That was my first day in this college .
