2. Bangkok 曼谷(BKK)

泰国首都，英文缩写BKK（这个在航空公司订机票或者到国际机场登机的时候很有用哦～～～）

3. Khao San Road (“靠山路”)

靠山路：曼谷出名的背包族(backpacker)的落脚点。来自世界各国的背包族，都喜欢群居在这里，或者潦倒，或者enjoy日子。

4. Guest house 旅店、招待所

到泰国旅游，guest house到处可见。所以，住guest house的习以为常使住酒店成为一种奢侈和浪费。

Guest house常见简写为：G.H. 这种用法，也是到处可见。

5. double room, twin room 双人房

double room和twin room都是指双人房。两者的区别在于：

double room是指A room for two persons with a double bed (允许两个人住并配有一个双人床的房间)；

twin room则是指A room with two beds for two people (允许两个人住并配有两张单人床的房间)。

通常旅店都会提供这两种方式的双人房，两者价格一样。

另外，旅店通常会按照air conditioner, non-conditioner, fan, non-fan, bathroom(洗手间), shared bathroom(公用洗手间), 24-hour hot water, refrigerator等这些附加条件进行更细的房间价格划分。住客可以按照自己实际需要进行选择。可见，泰国的旅游业已经是很成熟。

6. Make a phone call 打电话

到了泰国，可能很心急的一件事是，想打个电话回家报平安或者打电话给travel agency或者hotel。曼谷以及其它城市的市中心繁华一带、机场等，都很容易找到公共电话。公用电话通常有投币和插卡两种。前者是适用于在泰国make domestic calls国内电话。而后者，插卡式公用电话，则适用于make domestic call国内电话或者oversea calls国际长途，可以购买SIM卡或者充值卡（pre -paid card）。这些电话卡通常在7-11等便利店都可以买到，买了以后请店员小姐帮忙开通或者充值，很方便的)。

7. Taxi 打的

上车后，不要bargain（讲价），要求司机直接打表（use the meter）即可，路上会有很多high way 和toll way。High way就是高速公路了，toll way是应该是指一般的收费公路。两者都是要额外收费的。所以，上车之前，一定要跟司机说好“No high way. No toll way.”，否则就要白白多叫几十Bhat泰铢。

8. Domestic airport国内机场与international airport国际机场

当你要打的去机场的时候，一定要跟司机说清楚，你要去的是domestic airport（国内机场），还是去international airport（国际机场），因为国内航班和国际航班的入口相差还有一小段距离。否则，足够能把身上背着一大包行李、手里还拉着一个巨大的行李箱的你，好好的折磨一番。

另外，在一出机场的机场监控处打车，要加付五十Bhat泰铢管理费。所以，最好自己走出机场外，再打车。

9. Chatuchak公园周末市场

泰国曼谷特定地名词汇。Chatuchak，是曼谷的一个著名的周末市场。在这里您可以买到任何东西，从衣服、饰品、食物、手工艺品等一切都可以用来送赠亲朋好友的旅行纪念品。是喜爱逛市场和喜欢淘宝的人的天堂。另外要提一下的是，这里的人都不喜欢讲价，基本上是说了一个价格之后，就很难bargain讨价还价。

10. Phuket 布吉/普吉

与曼谷截然不同的是，普吉岛，具有广阔的最令人留连忘返的美丽的海岸线，海边有精巧的新月形白色沙滩，也有岩石构成的海峡。在北部一角，Sarasia桥与相连的地方，是普吉岛主要的沙滩和海湾。其中最popular最famous的几个海滩包括：

MAI KHAO海滩 － 松针形的沙滩是普吉岛最长的海滩，每年从十一月到二月大海龟都会与海浪博击，来到这里产卵。

NAIYANG海滩 － 这里是国家公园的一部分，背景是常绿乔木和红树林。宁静的环境最适于放松身体、野餐、游泳和潜水。

PATONG海滩 - 是普古岛最著名且设施最完善的海滩，在三公里长的月牙状海滩上，游客们可享受各种水上活动，购物和休闲娱乐。而且，这里的夜生活也丰富多彩，海鲜饭店随处可见。我们当时去的，就是PATONG这个海滩，觉得是一个很方便的度假海滩，很适合第一次出行泰国的人。

KARON海滩和KATA海滩 － 这两个海滩都有令人向往的宁静的环境，十分适合游泳、潜水、冲浪和日光浴。

11. Chiang Mai 清迈

本地产品范围非常广泛，包括棉布和丝绸、山地族服装、缅甸挂毯、手绘雨伞和漆器，许多都可以在night market(夜市)上找到。btw, 在清迈，最好挑一个离night market很近的旅馆住，这样晚上就可以很方便地在那里购物和吃yumi yumi的大排档海鲜了。

12. Elephant trekking around the jungle 丛林骑大象

除了购物，当时选择去清迈的另外一个原因是为了体验jungle和elephant show的乐趣。
