一、教材分析
本节课的教材内容是人教版新目标英语Unit 9 Have you ever been to a museum?的Section B2a~2c,这是一篇阅读文章Singapore—A Place You will never Forget,主要围绕“Singapore”展开教学,通过本节课的教学,让学生区别并运用现在完成时和一般过去时。同时,培养学生的阅读能力,拓宽他们的知识面,并帮助他们进一步了解世界。
二、学情分析
本节课主要语法是现在完成时,经过Section A部分学习,学生已经掌握了现在完成时,谈论的内容是“Singapore”,这是学生很感兴趣的话题,故而只要用恰当的“导入”稍作引导,学生就会兴趣盎然,例如:播放新加坡有关内容的视频,学生就会很快进入学习状态。
三、教学目标
1、知识目标
(1)掌握新单词: southwestern, safe, thousands of, simply, whether, fear, Indian, Japanese, Night Safari, fox, equator, whenever, spring, mostly, location等。
(2)能用现在完成时和一般过去式进行相关内容的写作,比如写一篇关于“hometown”或者曾经去过的某个地方的文章。
2、能力目标
培养学生用英语思维的能力和初步运用英语交际的能力,使学生能够在相似生活情景中运用所学语言知识(如现在完成时和本节课学到的新词汇),达到“学以致用”的目的。
3、德育目标
1、通过学习“Singapore”,了解新加坡文化和相关知识。
2、通过Night Safari和相关视频,让学生知道要爱护、保护野生动物。
三、教学重点
(1)掌握本单元的生词、短语和现在完成时。
(2)掌握有关于“某人曾经去过某地”的交际用语:Have you visited …? Have you been to …? Have you seen …? Have you ever tried …?
四、教学难点
1、熟练掌握和运用相关生词和短语,比如:Whether…or…,fear, have some problem doing…,whenever等的用法。
2、熟练掌握和灵活运用现在完成时来描述某人曾经去过某地,能区别现在完成时和一般过去时在表达过去经历的不同。
