Unit 3   How do you get to school?

1. 到达某地：get to+地点   

       arrive in+ 大地点；arrive at+ 小地点

2. 交通方式表达法：

take the train/ bus/ subway/taxi/ boat   to +地点  ride the/one's bike/ drive one's car     （放句中）

by bike/ train/ subway/ car/ taxi/ boat (放句末)

3. walk to school= go to school on foot 

    走路去上学

4. How long 多长时间，针对时间段提问

  回答：It takes sb.+时间+ to do sth. 

5. How far 多远，针对两地间的距离提问

  回答："It's ten kilometers/ miles.英里"或"It's five minutes' walk. 走路5分钟的距离"

6. bus stop 公交车站   bus station 汽车站

7. bus ride 公交车之行

8. be far from+地点: 远离某地 

 Eg: My home is far from school.

9. think of 认为

10. cross the river 横穿河流
