Is money the most important thing in life?

According to Sharon Sala Dinah McCall Legend, New York Times: Basic,1998, print. we know the story between June and Day exactly. With some reasons about family and experience, they have different opinions on money. We can’t say whose opinion about money is right or wrong, but it makes us to think deeply what is money and if it’s the most important thing in life? 

Money, an abstract word, which can not be given a clear definition, but strictly we can say that it is a code or a name of financial savings. People who have money we called the wealthy, otherwise the poverty. The life of the wealthy is a life of apparent ease and luxury. They have all the necessities of life and much more. They do not struggle with earning their daily bread. They worry about how to protect their assets. They do not work for money, they work with money. However, the life of the poverty on the other hand is quite a different matter. Their life is one of hardship and toil. They must rise early and work late simply to earn their daily bread. They do not concern themselves with investments and asset management, but rather with acquiring the necessities of life. They do not see themselves as having unlimited resources of time, talent and opportunity, but often see themselves as being stuck in their poverty. Sometimes they may see this as fate or chance but rarely do they see it as a divine blessing. The often heard cry against the rich is that they have become so by exploiting the poor. At some extend, money provides security to individuals in the event of sickness, job loss or marital separation, but at the same time, it makes people relay on it. If people have money, maybe they would lose their intelligence, creativity, and sensetivity……

In some way, American maybe stand for the wealthy. The catchphrase of the hour is that America is living beyond its means. The expression is used so much by politicians, economists and editorial writers that it is depreciating faster than the dollar. But there’s no way around it. It tells the story. The Data resources numbers show Americans increase their expending this year almost three times as fast as their after-tax income. What else can we explain it? What’s more, as a nation, The US has been doing the same thing throughout the 1990s. For years, The country has been consuming more than it produces, making up the difference by borrowing abroad. Therefore, It is safely to say that money makes losing and disaster if people donn’t use it in a right way. 

 In my opinion, the most important thing in life is knowledgr and creativity, happiness and also the ability to live. In the 20th century, mankind has achieved tremendous success. Of all the success, progress in science and technology is perhaps the greatest. It can be predicted that in the 21st century the rapid development of science and technology and the emergence of high-tech industries will push the world economy forward in its continuing evolutionary process from agricultural economy to industrial economy and then to the knowledge-based economy. The world is undergoing perfounded changes: the integration of economy with science and technology is increasing, the restructing of the world economy is speeding up, and economic prosperity depends only on the total volume of resources and capital, but directly on the accumulation and application of technological knowledge and information. Innovation is the theme of the world and is of paramount importance to the world’s socio-economic development. In such a new society, formerly simple solutions to informational needs become complicated. The need for information is of greatest importance. Those people who have accurate, reliable, up-to-date information to solve the day-to-day problems, the critical problems of their business, social and family life, will survive and succed. Many of life’s problems which were solved by asking family members, friends and colleagues are beyond the capability of the extend family to solve. Where to turn for expert information and how to determine which expert advice to accept the questions facing many people today. “Knowledge is power” (Bacon) may well be the truest saying and access to information may well be the most critical requirment of all people. 

In a word, in the changing and complex world, money isn’t the most important thing in life but knowledgr and creativity, happiness and also the ability to live. There are so many examples that who has so much money but he doesn’t fell happy at all, however, The people feel more happy who doesn’t have so much money. Money is  not the thing you can take away with you life , maybe unfortunely it will ruin your life. So, do not pay so much attention on money but on real life. Let’s do not go shopping but read in spare time to broaden horizons and working happy and living happy in our life.
