From the giant machine one century ago to the note books people carry everywhere, computers, the most popular and convenient helpers in people’s life are spreading out theirs attractions in various forms. However，it is strange that although various of electronic products appear every year, computers still remain their close connection with people. Virtual as it is, the internet certainly means the whole of computer to some of people today. Thus in my opinion, what the internet brings is the process and bright future of the development of technology.

The internet makes our world much smaller. As the society developing and the word “international” becomes increasingly familiar to everyone, the information of the world from books, newspapers and magazines cannot fulfils people’s curiosity, for they are too slow and inconvenient. People have to go to specific places or wait for specific period of times to just have a look at the news or the information they want. On the internet, however, people can know everything they want to know at everywhere and all times. The convenience of the internet makes it an important and centralized agent in globalize of information.

The internet creates a new way of living. When the E-mail instead of the letter which requires plenty of money and time, when the people can see each other and talk with each other on the small screen through the invisible line, when people can know everything without going out of their homes, it is obviously that the internet announces a new time’s coming. People are also enjoying the new time that the magical creature brings, by knocking on the keyboard and kicking on the mouse, people can now working, studying, playing or even starting a virtual love story on the internet. The internet not only attracts people to go in front of computers but also connects their minds together to build a virtual world where they can exchange their thoughts and comments with each other. At the same time, as people consider the internet as an essential part of their lives, there also appears some corresponding life styles that closely contact with the internet. It urges people to work much harder to accept new things and catch up with the step of the fast improving society.

The internet amuses people, educates people and also creates a different life style for people. With the internet, our lives can become more and more convenient.
