For many athletes, it’s hard to say goodbye to Beijing 2022 after they have enjoyed so many wonderful moments. However, all good things come to an end.
At the closing ceremony (仪式), athletes said goodbye in their own ways. The Japanese figure skater (花样滑冰运动员) Yuzuru Hanyu kissed the ice and bowed (鞠躬) deeply to people. The US snowboarder Shaun White took his final ride and shook his hand to say goodbye in the video.
The Moment of Remembrance has been part of every closing ceremony of the Olympic Games since the Rio Olympic Games in 2016. And China had its own way — performers (表演者) walked into the National Stadium, with willow twigs (柳条) in their hands. It showed China’s wishes to all the athletes and the whole world.
The willow twig carries a special meaning in Chinese culture. In ancient days, when friends said goodbye, they would pick a willow twig and give it to the person who was leaving.

81.例文
The mobile phone is said to be one of the most useful inventions. It is playing a more and more important role in our daily lives.
The first mobile phone was invented in 1973. It was really large and heavy, and could only be used for making phone calls. Now, mobile phones are much smaller and lighter with many different uses. For example, we can use them to take photos, watch movies and buy things no matter where we are. The mobile phone has made our lives much more convenient than before.
In the future, I believe the mobile phone will become smaller and smaller, and we will make it work just by giving it orders directly. Do you agree with me?
