Everyone needs friends. But how do you find real friendship and keep it?

The American writer Sally Seamans tells young students some smart ways to find friends. Sally says founding friendship is just like planting a tree. You plant the seed (种子) and take care of it to make it grow.

The worst tourist in the world may be Mr. Smith in San Francisco.

Grace was fourteen years old and was in Grade Eight. She had a part-time job, so she had to get up at five o’clock. She was a newspaper girl.

Each morning, Grace left the house at 5:15. She always rode a bike to the corner to carry the newspapers.
