辨析besides与except与专练

Besides、  except和but这三个词作介词时都含有“除了……’,的意思,但用法不尽相同。 

1 . Besides 表示“除了·…之外,还有…”,它含有“另加”的意思。例如: 一①There was another visitor besides me.除我以外,还有另外一个参观者。 ②We have other books besides these books.除了这些书外,我们还有其他的书。 ③1 have much more besides this.除这个以外,我还有许多。 2.except: 表示“除了……之外”,是指“从整体中除去一部分”,即“除去的”不包括在内。例如: ①They go to school every day besides Saturday and Sunday.除了周六和周日外,他们每天都去上学。 ②We all succeeded except him.除了他,我们都成功了。‘ ③we all go to cinema except her除她之外,我们每个人都去看电影了。
