一、教学目标
1. 能听、说、读、写单词: sandwich salad hamburger ice cream和tea。
2. 能灵活运用句型:What would you like to eat/drink? 及它的答语 I’d like…进行点餐交流。
3. 了解中西方餐桌礼仪和饮食差异。
4. 继续保持学生对学习英语的兴趣,激发学生用英语交流的热情。
二、教学重难点
(一)重点:
1. 能听、说、读、写单词:sandwich salad hamburger ice cream和tea。
2. 能灵活运用句型:What would you like to eat/drink? I’d like…进行交流。
(二)难点:
能准确、形象地运用句型进行实际操练。
三、教学准备
1. 多媒体课件、食物卡片、点读机。

Step1.Warm up
(1)Greeting
1. 课堂口语练习
T: Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls. Class begins !
Ss: Good morning , Miss Yuan.
T: What’s your name?
Ss: My name is......
T: Do you like apples?/Do you like chicken?
Ss:Yes, I do./No, I don’t.
设计意图:谈论的话题和本节课的内容密切相关。
(2)Preview
1. 教师用多媒体课件出示我的饭店图片,并邀请学生到我的饭店里。然后一起唱一首关于食物的歌曲。
2. 呈现饭店里面部分菜品,问学生认识它们么,并用英语回答出来。
T: Do you know them?
S1: Yes, potatoes
S2: fish
S3: noodles
设计意图:学生通过图片展示和回答问题,应该已经知道了本节课将要学习的内容,下面的教学自然就水到渠成。
Step 2 Presentation
( 1 ) Learn new sentences structures.
教师呈现食物图片,与学生进行对话,如:
T: What would you like to eat?
S2: Potatoes.
T: You can answer like this:“I’d like potatoes” .Ss repeat.
T: What would you like to eat?
S2: I’d like…, please.
教师呈现饮料图片,与学生对话。
T: What would you like to drink?
S1: I’d like some water
S2. I’d like some juice.
设计意图:复习完已经学过的单词后自然的引入到想吃什么这样一个句型,学生乐于练习和接受。
(2) Learn the new words
①师生对话。
T: Most of the food are Chinese food. Do you know western food? This one shows western food.(呈现PPT)。What do you like, Chinese food or western food?
Ss: I like Chinese/western food.
T: Some like Chinese food and some like western food. My restaurant has some popular Chinese food. Let me show you .
教师用卡片多媒体课件分别展示出三明治、沙拉、汉堡包和冰激凌的图片,引出单词sandwich salad hamburger和ice cream。并反复练习What would you like to eat? I’d like…句型。
T: I’m thirsty. I’ll drink . What’s in my hand?
教师用实物和动作,引出单词“tea”。并练习What would you like to drink? I’d like some tea.
设计意图: 先用提问的方式引起学生的好奇心,再用形象的图片引出单词,衔接自然,不会让学生有突兀的感觉。
Step 3 Practice
1,教师将生词和图片展示在黑板上,带领学生读几遍。然后让学生自己读。
2. 完成游戏猜单词。
3. 教师呈现今天的菜单,并介绍说是你们的服务员。反复操练句型。并且招聘两名服务员,问下面同学问题。
设计意图:每个学生了解自己的学习情况,通过学生的复习巩固来加强单词的记忆。接下来的游戏能够检查学生的快速反应能力。后面老师自然的引出句型,为接下来的小组活动做好准备。
Step 4 Consolidation
Group work
T:Three or four students make a group. Each group has a restaurant and need a waiter. Try to make a dialogue .Take out your menu and the following sentences will help you .
一段时间后小组上来展示。
S1: I am the waiter. Welcome ! What would you like to eat?
S2:I’d like a hamburger and some salad.
S1: OK. It’s good. What would you like to drink?
S2: I’d like some orange juice.
S1: OK. Here you are.
S2: Thank you.
S1: You are welcome.
播放Let’s Chant. 复习并再次感受本节课所学有关句型。
设计意图: 学生在小组合作中能够体验到合作学习的乐趣,并能在实际情境中练习所学内容。
Step 5 Extension
幻灯片呈现中西方餐桌文化和饮食差异。T:In China, people use chopsticks, but in the western, they use knife and fork. We often eat rice, porridge, noodles or dumplings.
设计意图:通过学习中餐和西餐内容,在此处简单的介绍中国和西方国家的餐桌文化和饮食差异。易引起学生兴趣。
Step 6 Homework
1. Read and recite the new words and sentences.
2. Practice with your parents by using the key sentences。
3. Think about your favourite food and its taste.
设计意图:巩固本节课所学内容,预习下节课内容,并将英语的学习运用延伸到课外。
