中外教育(英文)

“ Education is  the  foundation  of  everything  " ,the competition of talents is the most intense competition  in the world . As China has entered into the WTO , China will surely be confronted with even more challenges and opportunities .

But , the system of education in our country can keep the pace with the world ? How the differences lies in between China education and Western education ? Today our group will talk about the Differences of Education between China and Western Country.

About  Home  Education

The family is the children’s first school , parents are children’s best teacher ,home education is very important in children’s future .

In China, children should listen to their parents , following  their parents’ order . Also their parents will plan their life. Do not ask much question , just  listening and learning. Educating the child to become a useful person is their achievement, but if not, the parents feel shameful. The education's goal is for earning their living, for honor.

In west ,parents emphasize on independent. Education is not the preparation for earning their living, but for survival . They tell their child to think independent .

The words such as “no” , ”cannot” , “won’t” , “do not”  appear repeatedly when Chinese parents educating their  children ,but in western country , the encouraging language are  often used . And Chinese  also  believe that one can  not become a useful person without being  beaten  ,however  western country pay  great  attention to individual quality and the emotional  communication.

About  School  Education

 People always think Mark is ability in china , and education in school  emphasize  mechanical  memorizing , if the book is read hundreds of times , its meaning is shown naturally.

Whereas , in western country ,they think hand working ability is more important, pay more emphasize on the child’s “power of understanding ”.They asked their children to seek knowledge  from  life and nature.

About  Social  Education

In Chinese society ,do not have much chance for you to try again. People pay too much attention on experience and family background. Innovation capacity is relatively low .

In western country , they encourage new idea. Respect knowledge and intellectuals .Encourage people to do what they interested , not for money ,but for happy. 

Conclusion

From the above comparison we can see the education gap between China and western country .But noting is perfect , the education in western country also have disadvantages ,accepting the good and rejecting the bad are necessary for the development of education .
