《西游记》里不仅有佛教的影响，还有道教的影响。菩萨与如来观音，都是佛教里的诸生，玉皇大帝和神仙（赤脚大仙）等称呼，是道教里的说法，基本就是佛教的劫数。在此书中也涉及佛教的因缘巧合等等。我认为，这本书给人的影响不是佛教的影响，而是孙悟空（主角）的勇于逆反，冲破条规的精神。
