(1)、Knowledge  Aims（知识目标）:

Important words and expressions (upset /ignore / add up / be concerned about…).

Useful structures（* direct speech / * indirect speech）.

Useful writing samples (Why not…? / If you do this，…/ It would be a good idea if…).

(2)、Ability Aims（能力目标）:

Reading skills and comprehending skills.

Using the structure (direct speech / indirect speech) in real life.

Listening skills (Students should listen to the radio and spell the words that learned in this unit).

Speaking skills (The usage of the expressions about agreement and disagreement).

(3)、Emotion Aims（情感目标）:

Students will know the reasons why people need friends.

Students know what can be a friend.

Students know the importance of friendship in their real life.

◆Colored paper (Students write their ideas about friendship on it).

◆Communicative approach and Computer-Assisted Instruction are to be used in the course of this lesson. 

◆I will try my best to limit TTT, that is, limit Teacher Talking Time and increase STT (Student Talking Time), So during this lesson, emphases are to be laid on:  

 (1) Student-centered teaching.

 (2) Task-based learning. 

 (3 Activity-based teaching (individual work; pair work; group work; class work).
