To get students know about what a good English composition is.

To help students know how to arrange a good composition of contrast.

To get students grasp some important sentence pattern , phrases and transitional words.

Through studying this class, students can grasp the basic structure of writing a composition of contrast .Then they have great confidence in writing this kind of composition.

Teaching Steps:

Step 1 : Lead in

  Discussion : what is a good English composition ?

Three aspects : Structure ; Content ; Language

Step 2 : The Composition Of Contrast

   1 , Introduce some information about this kind of the composition of contrast.

2 ,Through helping students analysis the given version to get the structure of the composition.

Structure : 提出问题————不同观点对比————说明自己观点或者总结

3, Learn how to write each parts of the composition.

a, How to lead to discussed topic    ( BEGINING )

b ,How to write opinions of two sides .

C, How to show own opinions .     ( ENDING )

Step 3: Exercises

   1, Let students underline each parts in given composition.

   2, Let students fill in blanks in the composition.

Step 4 : Summary

Step 5 : Homework

   Write an English composition after class .
