This summer holiday, I went to Dalian with my family. We got there by air. Dalian is a very beautiful and modern city. On the bus, we could see all kinds of buildings which were great.

In the morning, we got to the hotel where we lived. After breakfast, we began to our travel. First we took the bus to the Sea Park. There are so many different kinds of fishes that I couldn’t believe my eyes. We also saw the show of dolphins. Then we had lunch in a restaurant. The seafood which was very famous in China was delicious.

After lunch we went swimming. The sea was blue and beach was golden. We all enjoyed ourselves in the sea. Finally we went back the hotel where we lived. We had a happy day.

In this trip, we also went to some places which were interesting and famous in Dalian, went shopping and so on.

Several days later, we left Dalian. On our way home, we were very happy. This was the reason why we didn’t feel tired. In all, we had a good holiday.

My Dream Job

Different people have different dreams. My dream is to work as an English teacher.

Here are the reasons. Firstly, I like English and children. Secondly, as a teacher I can enjoy almost three- month holiday each year. During the holiday, I have chances to do what I like. Thirdly, I’m good at English. So I can teach my students the right way to learn English. 

As the saying goes, “A dream is to a man what wings are to a bird.” With my dream, what should I do is to study hard and get high marks in English tests, and try to speak English as much as possible. Only in this way can I realize my dream of being an English teacher one day.

Rich or poor, young or old, we all have many teachers in our lives. In the journey of my life, I met a special teacher who impressed me a lot.

She is my English teacher. I was shocked by her beautiful looks, especially the sweet smile on her face. I can still remember that day, I got quite a low mark in my English test. I was really upset. At that moment, my English teacher was walking to me. I could see the sweet smile on her face clearly. Instead of being angry with me, she said to me, “I believe in you, my girl. Don’t give up!” 

She is different from other teachers. She always encourages me when I get into trouble. Because of her, my life is full of sunshine! Thank you so much, my dear teacher.

As we all know, different people have different hobbies. My hobby is reading. Sometimes I am called bookworm. I never mind it because reading is one part of my life. 

First, it’s an effective way to relax myself. As long as I put my heart into a book, I’ll forget all the troubles. 

Besides, I can get knowledge through reading. It can not only open our minds but also improve my school work.

In the end, from books I have learned how to be a man and how to tell good from bad. It helps me grow into an excellent person.

As the saying goes, “Reading makes a full man.” Because of reading, my life is full of sunshine and I regard it as my close friend.
