混元真人曰：夫天地以前，混沌之初，万汇未萌，空而无洞，只是虚无。虚无之中有景气，景气极而生杳冥，杳冥极方有润湿，润显之极，始结成雾露，雾露之极，方变水，水流雾下，其水满。流水者，阴气，阴极始生阳气。阳气渐上，炎热方结为火。火从水生，水火相交，即渐相霍。二物交泰，各生积气，积气所生，阴阳相炼，其数满足，始结为混沌。混沌既就，方为一气，一气所萌，方为天地之母。混沌者，从虚气而生也，方立阴阳，产五行，立四象。混元气极，混沌始分，便生元始。元始既生，便分积清之气为天，积浊之气为地。天地既立，乃轻清上为天，重浊下为地。其轻清虽然属阳，却内生阴气，阴气下降为地；其重浊虽然属阴，却内生阳气，阳气上腾为天。始天降地腾，水火相交，阴阳相战。交气极足，方结就太丹，太阳是也。其阳被天地运转，至有金气，金气属阴，运转气足，始生太阴，月是也。自后日月交泰，阴阳相炼，其数满足，渐生星辰。自上古至今，不离天降地腾，阴阳相交，日月相合，真气生产万物。万物之中，惟人最灵最贵。所以一生二，二生三，三生万物，其人并万物，须禀阴阳五行运转数足，方可成就。学道者，若不知下手于根源来处，怎得道成？人若依元本修行，一依天地阴阳、五行水火交泰运转修养，内外相应，真气满足，何愁不至神至圣，至神仙也。神仙之道，亦有三等，每等又分三等，三三始九，故有九等神仙。且上三等神仙者，要行观天之道，则一依天地初生之行度，气候满足，方可命长也。其功为是难，谓此道须得不犯破三奇者，可依天地行度，内外相应，大功了毕，得成上等真人之位也。如少年曾犯破三奇者，却采夺离龙元宫阳精，补之如旧，却修观天大功之道满足，方为中等真人之位。如更不用采夺，只将见在精气神候满足，方为下三等地仙矣！以上三品九等神仙之外，且有自然金丹。金丹者，是天地所生，其金丹满世皆有，但世人不晓上天秘隐之术。学道者万万人俱难遇此，乃是内金液大还丹也。更有丹药之中，最为上丹也。夫内金丹是金液还丹也，不出古文诸丹中，最为第一，遇此然后从无入有，不用人修。若所遇，则采之服食，便可得真人之位也。内金丹者，先采日魂月魄，合阴阳养用而成。凡内金丹者，自有五行四象相克，抽添否泰，七十二候，二十四气，四时八节，天地运动相炼，方得成就内金液还丹也。其丹亦如烂樱桃，在离龙金堂内成之，三千六百时，天符数足，方可成熟。采取有日有时，此丹上天隐秘，最为难遇。自轩辕之后，得道神仙，皆服此丹，得离嚣尘，名为真仙也。后若有知命学道之人，遇至人指诀，得成此丹，更加修功炼德造善，一切虚事勿行，功行满足，得遇此丹。若不除旧乖，立有祸生，前功尽毁。遇此丹者，上有三清上圣及诸洞神仙，立便知闻，须是万般舍弃，去除三毒。先以洁今肠胃，采得将来，用争室一问，四面烧香，不住拜求志告，发誓上清，并无外意，方可服之，点化凡躯。服一粒，万病消除，服二粒，散入遍体；服三粒，行如奔马；服四粒，发白变黑；服五粒，老者还童；服六粒，颜貌如婴儿；服七粒，意去便到，百神来迎；服至八粒，身有红光，足下云生；服至九粒，羽化为上等真人，万般无碍。如金液还丹者，内外有两般，外还丹者，是日魂月魄为首，束方木精为根，西方金精为本，两般生就黄芽。若立炉鼎，择地筑坛，采得真气入鼎中，从无入有，气候无差，五日一候，三候一气，一月两气，十二月二十四气中气，晦朔弦望，之法，丹成为妙之，不见成就者修养，之人阴阳交泰化之功，夺气候满足，长生也。此是外丹之验也。诸丹药中，盖其为法功大所以千万人中也。唯有内丹者采日时用机，心志求在目前不得退心至人不远道心不退指诀天机也显露至七分迹，先用三机三乘，三乘者丹有三四
